Client’s Challenge
The client needed a listing page to display their resources, but the data must be protected and only accessible with a valid username and password.
One of the primary requirements for this project was that the page needed dynamic functionality, allowing users to filter through data without reloading the page.
This requires a deep understanding of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as proficiency in HubDB (a database functionality in HubSpot CMS) and HubL (HubSpot's server-side scripting language).
Solution
Our development team utilized HubSpot's membership features to create a custom listing page with a HubDB database!
This allowed us to provide the client with the desired dynamic functionality, which does not require page reloading, while also implementing multiple filters for querying the database. The page includes a search filter as well as two category filters, enabling users to easily find the information they need.
By utilizing the power of HubSpot's CMS and HubDB, we delivered a user-friendly and dynamic listing page that met the client's needs. The implementation of filtering options ensures that the end user can efficiently navigate through the data on the page to find the desired resource.
