Client’s Challenge
Our client needed help migrating media files (e.g. images, pdfs...) from a SalesForce account to HubSpot.
But SalesForce does not allow files to be downloaded by a user within their CRM!
The OTF Team decided to take on the challenge of collecting multimedia content from SalesForce Files without using any third party application or their added costs. Let’s see how they tackled this…
Solution
We created a Python algorithm that allowed us (Implementing the SalesForce API) to download files belonging to a particular SalesForce user, and with the advantage of selecting only the list of files requested for the migration keeping other files private, saving time and money.
